The north island marine based eco-tourism business operators have had a long history of cooperation and stewardship. It is with this sense of community that we set forth to create the North Island Marine Mammal Stewardship Association (on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, map) aimed to envelope all marine-based eco-tourism companies operating within the area.

NIMMSA is now accepting membership requests for the 2008 season. Membership is in the best interest of business's that are invested in the sustained long term health of the marine eco-system and by becoming a member one is ensuring their own good standing within the industry.
